Update

Well, it's been over a month since I've updated here. So, I gave my notice at work and only have 2 1/2 weeks left there. Then two weeks after that Delilah and I will pile into my car (my mom's going to join us) and head down towards Texas. Here are the two small snazos in this; first, I have no one to rent my condo and am discovering that I'm going to have to take a loss and rent it for much lower than it costs, and second, I still don't have my first travel assignment. So there are the two things causing so much stress on me right now.

On the up side, I had the wonderful pleasure of singing Via Dolorsa this last Sunday at church. It felt so amazing! I love singing to God with the talent he gave me. I pray that it was able to touch many who were there. I'm also in the middle of recording my 2nd full CD and after much debate choose to sing Contemporary Christian. I get so much joy doing this. I wish I could do it full time. I've watched a lot of video of Sandi Patty and Darlene Zschech on youtube lately and can see how blessed they are to get to spend their lives singing to God daily.

Things to keep in your prayers;
my brother is still out of a job and searching for his calling in life

my other brother is making some life changing decisions in the next month or so

Imagine the Musical, which my mom wrote, is getting closer and we have lots to do to get it presentable

Lauren Schwamb is still waiting for her heart

my friend Jill is making her first trip home since her mom died late last fall

Bruce asked us this last Sunday when the last time we cried over a non-Christians choice to be apart from God (I'm totally paraphrasing), and it really got me thinking, so I've made the decision to bring my prayers for my dad and best friend to the forefront. I ask that you not only keep these two in your prayers but also for those close to you that have not made the committment to follow God.

Val,

Thank you for praying for me. I love you, girl!

I specifically think about you often. I still will keep my eyes and ears open re: your condo.

Happy Easter!

Val,

You may not remember me - this is Aaron, we used to do community theatre together when you were much younger. I found your blog and am wondering where I could get a copy of your CD.

Thanks for your interest. This CD is still in the making, but when it is 'released' I'm going to ask my church to give it out. So Fairfax Church of Christ will be able to hand out copies of it. I won't be selling it since I don't write my own music. My parents will also have copies, I know Aaron, you still talk with my dad occasionally, so if you'd rather you could get it from him. I'll post when it is finished.
