Rubbing Elbows with the rich and famous

So you ask what I'm doing tomorrow night?

Well mom and I are going to Benefit dinner for the Rett Syndrome Research Foundation(www.rsrf.org). One of our doctors at the hospital has a daughter with this syndrome and helped create this foundation. It is a horrible degenerative disease that effects little children.

Julia Roberts is the national spokeswoman. So hence the title of this entry. I don't know for sure if she will be there but I can always hope.

Of course I have to get better first. I think it would look kind of funny for me to be in an evening gown and sniffling with a tissue in my hand. But hey, people can always use a laugh right. I might have to send my dad in as my back up (he doesn't have to be sick to make people laugh).

I try to never leave home without kleenex...even when I'm decked out in finery. Coming from someone whose allergies trigger all that sinus crap, you just have to suck it up and carry the kleenex. Because you'll be REALLY sorry when all you have available to wipe your snot on is your dress! :)

Hope you get to feeling better! And have fun. :)

That sounds like a fun night to get all dressed up! Sorry about the cold though!
