Conspiracy against my dad

Well as my dad has been saying my mom and I have been planning this comspiracy to get him to go with her to the benefit tonight. My mom really wanted him to go with her, but as my dad put it, he didn't think he would be able to swollow the food at the price it was costing him. LOL

Don't get me wrong, he's not against charity and helping others, he just doesn't believe that the money for these benefits got to the right people. But.....

Because of this terrible cold/virus that I am now on antibiotics and steroids for, I won't be able to go tonight. I am pretty disappointed because I love to get dressed up and I had hoped to meet Julia Roberts but alas it will have to wait.

I am glad however that my mom and dad now get to go on a date!! Hmm? Maybe it was a conspiracy.
