Well, here's the big news. I signed a contract yesterday on this condo in Fairfax. It is being renovated and I'll be moving into it in September. It's a one bedroom/one bathroom condo, fairly small but perfect for just Binky and I.
My unit is the one on the ground level and there is not building to the right, which means I have a nice view looking out of my bedroom window. It is a stones-throw away from the church building and even closer to 66. With traffic it only took me 15min to get to the Hospital the other day. Down the street is a nice shopping center with a movie theatre and FairOaks Mall is just around the corner.
So, I am now a home owner and will enter the world of morgage payments and home up-keep expensies.

I figured that the "news" was about your pending condo! You took the plunge! Congrats, I don't think you'll ever look back.
