DOTK

Wow, what an AWSOME weekend! Daughters of the King was a great experience for me and I think many other girls. I spent 14 hours at the church building this last weekend for this event, and for the first time ever, I felt like I actually connected with teenage girls.

I loved working along-side this girls below on the Movement Ministry. Clockwise starting with me, Jill, Hannah, Tisa, Darla, Natalie, Chelsea (Hope is not pictured). The time and engergy we all spent on perfecting our 3 routines was great time of friendship building. I pray that these girls will continue to grow in Christ and remember that they are His!
There was another milestone this last weekend. I wore a church badge that acutally had "adult" on it!! I had a wonderful time with these two other "adults" Jill and Ashley.
Thank you Fairfax CofC, the DOTK Princess Committe, and the wonderful women speakers we had this weekend. You not only impacted many teenage girls but you've also impacted me.

This weekend reaffirmed for me how important spiritual involvment with fellow Christians is. Surrounding ourselves with other Christians can only lead to an improvement of ourselves.

I forgot to say "thank you" for signing the songs for me during the concert! You may be the first person that has ever done that for me. :-)
