Shyana gave me an "L"

Ok so here's the thing, comment on this blog and I'll give you a letter. Then you take that letter and write ten words that start with that letter and what they mean to you.

Love - of course I had to start with this one. Love is essential to life. We need love from others, for ourselves and most importantly from God.

Lust - debatablity the root of all evil. People lust for $$, love, power, popularity, material possessions, etc. I think that we all are greatly effected by lust. I know I have.

Little - my height. I am only 5'2" and it am so short. It is really annoying most of the time, no matter what you look like, if you are as little as I am you are automatically labled as a child/teenager. It is so frustrating, HOWEVER, as my friend Ashley pointed out being little has it's benefits when we are able to squeeze somewhere that most people can't fit (like under a sink)!

Les Mis - One of the top three best Musical Theatre Shows!!! This is amazing and if you haven't seen it yet, you should someday. (just for your knowledge, the other two are Phantom and Wicked!)

Long - Monday classes this semester. They suck!!! I am in class on mondays from 9 am - 730pm. And two of the three classes are stupid classes that we really shouldn't have to take. But schools have to make money some how so they make these classes requirements, ugh!

Lisa - One of my best friends. We have known eachother our entire lives!! She even sat on top of me while I was still in my mom's belly (my mom babysat her the last few months of pregnacy). We have had our ups and downs but we always come back and enjoy eachothers company.

Lucky Charms - my favorite cereal, it's the best. However, I haven't eaten for a few years now because it is not that healthy. I've swtiched to Smart Start for the nutrition factor, :-(

Laughing - the best medicne. If I could just tell all my patients to laugh, everything would improve. I keep thinking about Patch Adams, he really was a fabulous doctor. Great example. So everyone on the count of three start laughing......1........2.......3 ;-p

Loyalty - this is something I've been struggling with lately (another 'L' word). I really feel that loyalty has been taken for granted. I don't feel like people see it's importance anymore. It really hurts when people aren't loyal. but then how loyal are we to God when we sin, or forget to spend time with him?

Leadership - well I was origionally going to talk about the "Leadership" class I'm taking on Monday's but you can gather from "Long" what I was going to say about it, so instead I'm going to talk about a wonderful man name Bruce. He is a Leader at our church, and he is a great example of leadership. I'm really excited for him, getting ready to go on a sabbatical. I think this will be a wonderful time for him for self renewal and learning. I also think our church will learn how blessed we are to have him as our minister. (not that we won't have wonderful sermons over the next few weeks, but Bruce is special)
