Interesting note about Saint Valeria - your grandfather always called you "Valeria" - but with no intention of a catholic connection.
However, your middle name, Anne is very much from a Biblical choice - I was firm about naming my children in honor of biblical people - and Anna was special in her instant recognition of the baby Jesus. The name is also in honor of your paternal great-aunt Anne, a devout nun.
"Anna an-na (female)
Greek, from Hebrew: Gracious, grace. Greek form of the Hebrew name Hannah. Anna was the daughter of Phanuel, an Asherite. She became a prophetess. As an old woman, she saw the infant Jesus Christ and recognised Him at once as the long-awaited Messiah. Variants: Anca, Ania, Anica, Anita, Anka, Anne, Annette, Anni, Annice, Anusia, Nan, Nance, Nancy, Nanette, Nanice, Nanita, Nanny, Nansi, Nita, Panni. [Luke 2:36]"
also, according to Catholic Tradition and some apocryphal literature Anne (sometimes spelled Ann) is is the name of the mother of the BV Mary. Yep, his grandma.
just chimming in... don't mind me...
