Joys of being an aunt

So we were driving home last night from church. We get onto Evergreen (about 10mile streach of backwoods road) and Ian says, "My tummy hurts!!"
me - "Huh?"
Ian - "My tummy hurts."
me - "Do you have to go potty?"
Ian - "Yes"
me - (oh man! Keep in mind Ian wears only big boy pants now, and I had no change of clothes with me) "Poopoo or peepee?"
Ian - Poopoo
me - (Shoot!) Are you sure?
Ian - yes
me - ok hold on (hoping he'd forget about it I keep driving for another minute)
Ian - My tummy hurts.
me - ok, ok, Ian you're going to go potty in the woods!!
Ian - Yeah
So I pulled over (into a bunch of mud that got all over my shoes) and found two tiny napkins and a flash light. I walk him away from the road and pull his pants down. I tell him, "ok you can go potty now. " So he does his adorable little pushing face and says, "I can't do it!!"
me- yes you can
Ian - (he tries for another few seconds) no I can't do it.
me - are you all done?
Ian - yes
me - Are you going to go potty in your pants?
Ian - no
Ok so I get him back in the car (through all the mud) and start driving again. Another few minutes down the road and he says, "my tummy hurts"
me- you're just going to have to wait until we get home.
Not even two more minutes down the road and Ian is snoring, completely out of it. He didn't even bat and eye when I got him out of the car and undressed, put a diper on him and put him in bed.
No the story's not over yet. I was telling him mommy today what he did to me last night. Well, it seems that when Ian doesn't want to go to sleep but if having difficulty staying awake, he says....My tummy hurts!!! Man!! He has me wrapped around his little finger.
